WELCOME TO FOREST CITY DOG TRAINING CLUB
Forest City Dog Training club has successfully trained thousands of area dogs since our club's inception in 1968. We help dogs and owners build a stronger bond as they train. Our experienced instructors will work with you to find the method of training that works best for you and your dog. We offer classes in Obedience, Agility, Confirmation, Rally, & Therapy Dog work. We train a wide range of students from those whose goals are simply a well behaved pet, to those are looking to show at the national level.
Forest City Dog Training Club was established in 1968 by a small group of people interested in helping others train their dogs for obedience shows as well as how to have a great family pet. Over the years, our training has evolved and now includes obedience, rally, agility, therapy work, and conformation.

If Rockford public schools cancel classes
then Forest City dog training club classes are also cancelled

FYI, there will be no classes on Mon., May 26th, 2025 - Memorial Day. Make up classes will be available. Tues-Thurs classes will be held on their regular day and time.

Forest City Dog Training Club students,
It has come to our attention that Bordatella is on the increase in our area. Please keep your dog and others safe
by taking precautions. Avoid places with a lot of dog traffic. Bordatella vaccinations can be given every six
months, if your dog frequents dog parks, groomers, training facilities, or trial and show venues it is a wise
precaution.

FOR EACH SESSION: CLASSES ARE ONE HOUR, ONCE A WEEK, FOR SIX WEEKS
OBEDIENCE CLASSES ARE $115 PER SESSION (6 Classes)
AGILITY CLASSES ARE $140 PER SESSION (6 Classes)
For Junior Handlers and 4-H (Age 8-18) : Discount Classes 40%, put in code: 24JUNIOR Must be handled by the Junior.
For rescue dogs first class use 24RESCUE for their first obedience class.
Our Instructors stress positive reinforcement. Your dog should want to learn. |
We accept dogs into classes from 8 weeks of age and up. All of our classes are open to the general public. |
Our 20,000 square foot facility is air conditioned, and has both artificial turf, and matted training areas. |
Forest City Dog Training Club is licensed by the AKC (American Kennel Club)
